Anarcho-Capitalism, the Impeachment Process and President Trump

Anarcho-capitalist for Trump
By Robert Wenzel

Anarcho-capitalists generally hold the view that turmoil is the best state to keep the ruling elite in.

The more they have to deal with turmoil, the less time the elite have to harass the general population, especially when the turmoil is two opposing power factions fighting each other. And that is what the current Trump impeach inquiry is all about.

It is the crazed lefties not being able to deal with the fact that the White House now is in the hands of crazed Donald Trump.

At this early stage in the battle, anarcho-capitalists can't really complain.

It brings to mind a story that was once told to me by a prominent libertarian.

A number of leading anarcho-capitalists were sitting around a table having drinks. They were all close to Ron Paul and they were his key advisers. His kitchen cabinet if you will. It was the height of Ron Paul popularity. His crowds were getting bigger and bigger.

One of them at that table asked of the other anarcho-capitalists: "What if Ron actually gets elected?"

The immediate answer from another: "We immediately start calling for his impeachment."

And that is the anarcho-capitalist spirit. No one should rule over us. Of course, in reality, Dr. Paul as president would have been great. He would have rolled back infringements on liberty by as much as he could and the anarcho-capitalists at that table knew this damn well.

This brings us back to the current situation. I have no objection to the turmoil now going on in Washington D.C., it keeps the oppressors off our backs. Better they fight each other. But we must "protect our president" at this time and object the current battle reaching the Senate conviction stage.

A Trump removal from office, as I have previously stated, could very well result in a Democratic sweep in the 2020 elections with of both chambers on Capitol Hill, and the White House, in control of the Democrats. This would mean know stopping their moves to take away our liberties and our money.

Thus, even anarcho-capitalists should not support the crescendo for Trump impeachment to climb too high. If the polls overwhelmingly turn against President Trump, the Democrats will find enough Republicans in the Senate to flip and vote for conviction.

We must "protect our president" and do what we can to kill the impeachment enthusiasm.

  1. Abandon this system of might makes right. Let the turmoil continue. Whether dominated by one party or another matters little. The socio-political environment must get much worse before it can get better.

  2. Or maybe we could have us a splendid little civil war. In some ways, too bad this is not the 19th century. Every city is tender keg given that if the trucks stop everything is gone in a week.

It's hard to make the argument that the GOP has ever stopped any moves to take away our liberties or money. They just do it in different ways.

    1. Yes, two wings of the same bird of prey, but any division is better than none.
