Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez |
AOC turned tail on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue to avoid a potential Republican challenger as they both marched in the National Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday, her political opponent said, according to The New York Post.
Rich Valdes, a talk radio producer, told The Post that he tried to challenge AOC to a debate on the merits of capitalism versus socialism when he spotted her near West 47th Street.
But Ocasio-Cortez “cut her handshaking short, jerked her hand back and jetted to the other side of the street,” Valdes said.
“She literally ran!” he said.
“I thought this was a good time to try and get a response but I honestly only saw the back of her head as she trotted across the street.”

Ha, that's great. Of course she will never engage - what does she have to gain by having her ideas blown apart on camera - but it's good to expose the cowardice.
ReplyDeletewhat a total joke, she is the mouth piece of her communist cos.
ReplyDeleteHa! Great to confront these bastards! Last Friday, Bernie Sanders was on my flight from Chicago to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Upon deplaning and waiting for our gate checked bags (small aircraft), I went up to Bernie and said: "Why don't you just go ahead and take the exorbitant tax money directly out of my wallet instead of having your government henchman do it for you?" He was confused. I turned my fat rear around and said, "Really, go ahead and take out my wallet." He actually started reaching before catching on that this was not a political donation. He replied, "Look, if you don't want to vote for me, don't vote for me." I replied "you need to hear from people who realize taxation is theft." Then his handlers started in to diffuse me.
ReplyDeleteA few people smiled in approval, some confronted me. One said that I must not be from Iowa as the farmers are hurting from the tariffs. I said I was born and raised in farm country, farmers generally do - some do well due to gov't hand outs, but yes, the tariffs are a huge mistake.
One angrily came up to me, pointing finger in my face, "you must not be one with a dying grandmother in the hospital." I responded it's gov't involvement in healthcare that increases the cost in the first place. She replied she didn't want to hear any of it.
And that was that. My opportunity to confront the bastard socialist who advocate uncivil authoritarian programs came and I took advantage the best I could.
There was 30 seconds more of silence as we waited, my bag came out first (frequent traveler) and Bernie flashed a wary eye my way as I passed by.
We had a calf die in the pasture the other day. The weather was warm. By the time I found it there, 12 hours after I last patrolled the area, the flies had arrived and it was already half gone. Being first in the nation is a bummer. It attracts the absolute bottom of the barrel.
