The bully Trump is in action once again.
Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has been indicted on 17 counts of violating the Espionage Act for his role in obtaining and publishing secret military and diplomatic documents in 2010, the Justice Department announced on Thursday.
According to The New York Times, the Obama administration debated charging Assange under the Espionage Act but ultimately chose not to.

We don’t have a democracy. We have a republic. And it was doomed long ago - sometime around September 1787.

ReplyDeleteIt may be a weak republic, but it’s still a republic not a democracy. Otherwise, we would elect presidents via a popular vote instead of through the Electoral College just to name one example.

ReplyDeleteThat's Will Barr's DOJ, boys and girls. Yes, the same man who is protecting the president from the mean and ugly Demo-rats. His DOJ is now making up new charges against Assange because he dared --DARED, I tell you!-- embarrass the Leviathan by lifting its skirt ever so slightly.
Julian will be a martyr I just hope he doesnt go down without a legacy of dissent and real acknowledgement that we are living the totalitarian nightmare today.
