The Full List of News Media Organizations and Individuals Contacted By Covington Catholic High School Student Nick Sandmann's Lawyers

Nick Sandmann
This is just great and falls under my "Walter Block Rule" for libel against government operatives which include most of mainstream media.

Nick Sandmann is the Covington Catholic High School student who was incorrectly identified by many mainstream news outlets as a provocateur in a Washington DC standoff he had with American Indian Nathan Phillips.

He is now contacting those outlets, individual reporters and some politicians.

"The legal counsel representing Nick and his family, Todd McMurtry and experienced libel and defamation lawyer L. Lin Wood of Atlanta, have said they will seek justice for the harm allegedly done to the teen," The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "McMurtry is with the law firm of Hemmer Defrank Wessels and has practiced law in Greater Cincinnati since 1991. He said a team of seven lawyers has been working full-time to review the media accounts of what happened."

  1. They are receiving letters, but not necessarily all being sued.

  2. Didn’t Trevor Noah say something about wanting to punch him?

  3. Note well their home Archdiocese is included, along with a couple others. Even their own immediately tagged onto the social justice condemnation bandwagon. (the diocese have partially recanted and apologized) The letters included demands to keep any and all evidence (documents, communications) in case a lawsuit ensues.

  4. Let's hope he doesn't settle out of court "for an undisclosed amount in exchange for not discussing the settlement."
