An ‘Unprecedented’ Number of Democrats in Congress Want to Be President (My early forecast)

Howard Schultz, the Wenzel early pick
as the Democratic 2020 presidential nominee.
So says The Washington Post.

According to the Bezo rag, this is the list:

Senators who are definitely or potentially running include: Michael Bennet (Colo.), Cory Booker (N.J.), Sherrod Brown (Ohio), Bob Casey (Pa.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Kamala Harris (Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), Jeff Merkley (Ore.), Chris Murphy (Conn.) Bernie Sanders (Vt.), and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.)

Representatives include: John Delaney (Md.), Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii), Beto O’Rourke (Texas), Tim Ryan (Ohio) and Eric Swalwell (Calif.)

This is a pretty sad list, outside of Gabbard who is very good on foreign policy.

But in addition to members of Congress, Michael Bloomberg, who I find an especially annoying interventionist, and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, are making noises about running.

My two year out, very early take, is that Schultz has the best shot at gaining the Democratic nomination. Anybody that can get the world to pay from $3.00 to $5.00 for a cup of coffee knows how to spin. The campaign trail will tell us if he has the personal charisma to match his spinning nonsense ability.

  1. With that many people running all at once, it'll be like the republicans last time around. Not many peiple really luked Trump, but everyone else had their votes split between Paul, Bush, Rubi,Cruz, etc. so Trump got more support because the support was so watered down. If that was any indication, we'll probably get someone like Matt Damon as the next presidential candidate for the next election. Not any good, no experience, but he's been on TV so he can het votes. (remind you of anyone)

    1. if you remember correctly the republican base hated all the Republican candidates as useless sellouts who failed to wipeout obamacare Trump came in kicked John McCain in the ass and never looked back on the way to presidency.
