Oh Boy, Google CEO to Testify Before Congressional Committee

Google chief executive Sundar Pichai is set to testify to Congress in December, reports The Washington Post.

The testimony is scheduled for Dec. 5 before the House Judiciary Committee, according to the Bezos rag.

Of course, Republicans, many of whom believe that Google is biased against conservatives, will still control the committee in Dec.

Rep. Jim Jordan of the Freedom Caucus is among the members.

Bring popcorn.

Of course, the libertarian position is that private sector companies should be left alone. But government contracts should be eliminated. Will Google's government contracts be brought up?

  1. I wonder if these congress critters will bring up the grants from the CIA/NSA program Massive Digital Data Systems to Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page while they were at Stanford that resulted in the Google search engine.

  2. How is Google a private company if it requires a government charter to form a corporation which provides its owners with a legal liability shield?
