Via CNN:

 A piece of mail delivered to the Pentagon has tested positive for ricin.

UPDATE 2

Two envelopes suspected of containing ricin have been identified in the Pentagon's Central Processing Center, according to a Pentagon spokesperson.

UPDATE 3

A more detailed analysis of the envelopes is being conducted to determine whether they test positive for the poison, the FBI said in a statement.

Staffers opened an envelope containing a white powdery substance.

UPDATE 5

Two people were taken to the hospital after apparently being exposed to a white powdery substance in an office building at 3200 SW Fwy. The 9th floor of the Phoenix Tower has been evacuated as HFD HazMat is responding to the scene working to determine the nature of the substance.

Via CNN:

 If ingested, Ricin causes nausea, vomiting and internal bleeding of the stomach and intestines, followed by failure of the liver, spleen and kidneys, and death by collapse of the circulatory system.
