Seven Days in May is a 1964 American political thriller motion picture about a military-political cabal's planned takeover of the United States government in reaction to the president's negotiation of a disarmament treaty with the Soviet Union...
U.S. President Jordan Lyman has recently signed a nuclear disarmament treaty with the Soviet Union, and the subsequent ratification by the U.S. Senate has produced a wave of dissatisfaction, especially among Lyman's opposition and the military, who believe the Soviets cannot be trusted.
A Pentagon insider, United States Marine Corps Colonel "Jiggs" Casey (the Director of the Joint Staff), stumbles on evidence that the Joint Chiefs of Staff, led by the charismatic Air Force General James Mattoon Scott, intend to stage a coup d'etat to remove Lyman and his cabinet in seven days.In the drama, the president was able to defeat the coup. Will we face such a real live moment in the near future?
The attacks on President Trump for treating Russian President Vladimir Putin civilly in Helsinki have just not stopped. (Just listen to the first couple of minutes of these clips)
And in this clip, CNN's John King calls it the "Surrender Summit."
But it is not only coming from the "CIA News Network."
There is from FOX:
And this from the "loyal" Mooch:Fox and Friends host @Kilmeade: "I will say this to the president when Newt Gingrich, when General Jack Keane and Matt Schlapp said the president fell short and made our intelligence apparatus look bad it's time to pay attention." pic.twitter.com/cqOwQbSJSS— Saagar Enjeti (@esaagar) July 17, 2018
TOUGH WORDS about Trump’s handling of Putin from ex-WH aide Anthony Scaramucci on CNN.— Jennifer Jacobs (@JenniferJJacobs) July 17, 2018
“This is absolutely wrong. ... He’s got to reverse course.”
Scaramucci said this is an "emperor's new clothes" situation — and someone has to tell Trump he's not wearing any clothing. pic.twitter.com/Pt1siVxGRX
Talk about seeding the soil for a ground attack! I have never seen anything like this and it appears to me to be semi-coordinated. Look at the current headlines from my current Google news feed:
If Trump, the skilled communicator to the masses, doesn't turn the narrative around and quickly, it is completely unclear how the month of July will end.
Please note: I am not predicting anything but wow. Nothing will surprise me now.
Trump acting civilly is being used to bludgeon him.
Caitlin Johnstone is correct when she tweets:
The Deep State is in full control of the narrative. Will Trump be able to gain it back?If you don't remember thinking much about Russia prior to the 2016, and now you think about it a lot more, that's your first clue that you've been propagandized. It's the same country it was in 2015. The threat it poses hasn't changed, only the narrative has.— Caitlin Johnstone (@caitoz) July 17, 2018

UPDATE
Here comes Trump's attempt to take back the narrative.
He will make remarks about his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at 2 p.m at the start of his meeting with members of Congress, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said.
Oни думают, что я глупый человек?
ReplyDeleteTo quote Ben Franklin: "There is no good war, and no bad peace."
ReplyDeleteWhy do Leftists, Progressives, and Neo-cons have such a hard time understanding this?
Libertarians For Trump - just sayin'.
ReplyDeleteDo we really need to suck off the president for *not* starting a war with Russia?
DeleteAs compared to sucking off every mangina out there calling for nuclear war? Because that what Trump's opposition is.
