Facebook Bans Infowars' Alex Jones for 30 Days

Alex Jones, the founder of Infowars, has been suspended by Facebook for 30 days.

The social media from also removed four videos from the network said violated its community standards.

A Facebook spokesperson also said if Jones or his fellow admins continue to break its rules, his pages face a permanent ban from the site.

The move comes a day after YouTube removed some of Jones' videos and suspended his ability to broadcast live on YouTube for 90 days.

Look, as private organizations, YouTube (part of Google) and Facebook can do what they want.

However, these attacks on speech at general public forums only cause such speech to go underground and make it more difficult for the general public to monitor to understand social trends, elements and activities.

Bad move
