Meghan Markle has a coat of arms. It has been approved by the Queen of England.

"It is customary for Supporters of the shield to be assigned to Members of the Royal Family, and for wives of Members of the Royal Family to have one of their husband's Supporters and one relating to themselves," Kensington Palace said in a statement.

"The Duchess of Sussex took a great interest in the design. Good heraldic design is nearly always simple and the Arms of The Duchess of Sussex stand well beside the historic beauty of the quartered British Royal Arms," Thomas Woodcock, Garter King of Arms, said.

Most notable on the shield are three quills which, the Palace tells us, represent "communication and the power of words."

Very Hayekian, in terms of recognition of second-hand dealers in ideas and all that.

Of course, Meghan herself appears to be a run-of the mill, mental wires crossed lefty, so her influence is likely to be nothing more than another voice in the mainstream echo chamber of social justice warrior confusion.
