This is What Happens If You are the Epicenter of the Establishment

Harvard has raised $9.1 billion as part of its ongoing capital campaign as of March 31, according to a dean of the University and multiple alumni who attended a celebratory event in Sanders Theater Saturday afternoon, reports The Crimson.

Harvard launched its capital campaign in 2013 with a goal of $6.5 billion, which it passed in April 2016, breaking a higher education record in the process.

” Vice President for Alumni Affairs and Development Tamara E. Rogers wrote in an email statement to The Crimson that the University will continue to solicit donations in the months to come.

The campaign officially concludes June 30. Expectations are that many alumni will donate through reunion season in May.
