REPORT: McMaster to be Ousted

The White House is preparing to replace H.R. McMaster as national security adviser as early as next month in a move orchestrated by chief of staff John Kelly and Defense Secretary James Mattis, reports NBC.

It will be good to see the crazed warhawk go but I am afraid of who will replace him.

Apparently, neocon Condoleezza Rice is pushing for auto industry executive Stephen Biegun to replace him.

Any Rice choice should be looked at with suspicion. But this guy is real bad. He is not only a total crony establishment but appears to be a total Rice tool.

Biegun is vice president of International Governmental Affairs for Ford Motor Company. Prior to joining Ford, Mr. Biegun served as national security advisor to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist. Before joining the Senator’s staff, Mr. Biegun worked in the White House from 2001-2003 as Executive Secretary of the National Security Council.  Prior to that, Mr. Biegun served for 14 years as a foreign policy advisor to members of both the House and the Senate. During this time, he was also Chief of Staff of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and was the Committee's senior staff member for European affairs.

Under Rice, when she was National Security Adviser, he served as a senior staff member to the National Security Advisor and performed the function of chief operating officer for the National Security Council.

Even worse, there is some speculation that John Bolton, who wants to attack North Korea, might replace McMaster.
