ReplyDeleteThe myth of government protection, a sad moral hazard.
ReplyDeleteCNN et al. already went there: "Is it justified for civilians to possess a semiautomatic weapon?" asks smug a...hole Anderson Cooper. "Oh, no, they shouldn't!" responds the usually reliable anti-gun statist.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why we even have anachronistic, super-sized, brick-and-mortar prisons (er, I mean, schools) anymore. Kids could be online, doing and submitting their work, or skyping and having teleconferences and seminars, etc. But of course, unless a parent has the resources, they have to obey the law that requires them to deposit their kid at the local shooting gallery for the convenience of the local psychopath to eliminate.
