DEAD: Gene Sharp

The man who taught the CIA how to create revolution and discontent overseas has died.

He is most well known for creating the concept of "color revolution" themed civil unrest.

His strategy and tactics are outlined in his book, From Dictatorship to Democracy: A Conceptual Framework for Liberation.

He passed away at his home in East Boston on January 28th, a week after celebrating his 90th birthday, according to the curiously named Albert Einstein Institution that he founded.

  1. Maybe he believed that Einstein was the one who said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” Apt for the CIA's interventions overseas.

  2. I wonder if he gave any thought in his later years to the utter chaos and devastation his policies have wrought.
