four-day event in Carlsbad, California, titled “Beyond #Resistance: Reclaiming our Progressive Future,” that began on Wednesday and ended Saturday.

Other speakers identified as appearing in person or via video included U.S. Sens. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Lujan, D-Minn.; and Democrats Gov. Tom Wolf of Pennsylvania and governor-elect Ralph Northam of Virginia.

Boy, am I tired of seeing all those white guy speakers. It seems that the Dems are painting themselves into a fringe corner, but they probably feel safe with that because the Repugnantcans are too freakin' stupid to capitalize.

DeleteHow do religious exemption laws "gut civil rights protections"? Isn't the nature of an exemption to enable one not to be coerced by some legislation? If so, how does that gut a civil right?
