Mattis Responds To North Korea Bomb Test

Defense Secretary General Mattis is correct in calling what North Korea did a provocation, however, the recent joint US-South Korea military exercises on the North Korean border were also a provocation.

Both sides are nuts.

So much for "dealmaker" Trump.

This is a 32-year old kid that possibly could be "talked down" but no effort is being made in that direction. One slip now and millions upon millions will die.

UPDATE 2

 The UN Security Council has now scheduled a meeting for Monday at 10 a.m. ET.

 UN Secretary-General António Guterres declared the North Korean test as "profoundly destabilizing for regional security."
