UPDATE 1
From South Korea's Yonhap News:
North Korea launched a salvo of apparent missiles from its east coast Thursday, South Korea's military said.
"North Korea fired multiple unidentified projectiles, assumed to be surface-to-ship missiles, this morning from the vicinity of Wonsan, Gangwon Province," South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said.
It was immediately reported to President Moon Jae-in, it added.
UPDATE 2
An official tells CNN that the Pentagon is not expected to release a statement about tracking the North Korean launches because these were not ballistic missile capable of posing a long-range threat.
UPDATE 3
Meanwhile, via The Washington Post, North Korea has slammed President Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Accord. Calling it a “shortsighted and silly decision.”
