In Kingsport, Tenn. a woman knocked on the door Saturday night of Lisa Morelock,
The woman said she was looking for a lost dog. When Morelock opened the door, a masked man rushed in and tried to push her out of the way.
"I was scared for a few seconds in there and then, just, mama bear kicked in on me, you know? Just, 'No. Not today,'" Morelock told WJHL.
She grabbed an aluminum bat and took him down, leaving him battered and bruised.
When she ripped off his mask, she recognized him as a family friend, 35-year-old Joe Sotello.
He was charged with aggravated robbery and burglary.
