This morning President Donald Trump met with former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
There is no way to spin this as a good sign. Libertarian Trump fanboys won't even be able to do it.
Rice, who at the time of the Iraq invasion was Geroge W. Bush's national security adviser, was a chief architect and proponent of the Iraq War, arguing publicly -- and ultimately erroneously -- that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
The White House did not provide any details in advance on what Trump planned to discuss with Rice.
Earlier this month, Trump appointed Dina Powell to a senior post on the White House national security council. She was a key adviser to Rice at the State Department.
