    1. When an incoming President decides to engage in a sophomoric game of nuclear machismo with Vladimir Putin, who has witnessed his countries borders relentlessly encroached upon by the U.S. and Nato, it evidences braggadocio not brains. A Vladimir Putin who is seething as the U.S. Navy decides to make the Black Sea an American bathtub where Trump can play with his new Christmas toys, is not a good idea.

Besides, George Herbert Walker Bush promised the Russian Federation that we would not take advantage of Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union by moving troops into former Soviet client states. Trust me, Vladimir Putin has not forgotten what a bunch of lying scumbags the C.F.R. and Heritage Foundation are at the core of their collective souls. I have to assume you are ignorant of the role of the C.F.R. in placing it's member in virtually every single slot in every incoming administration

I am sorry that you have learned nothing from the catastrophic failure that every neocon endeavor has left in it's wake, I guess you don't know what it's like to not be lied to day-in-and-day-out by a bunch of renegade Trotskyites without being overwhelmed with a serious case of self doubt. Some people live to be lied to.

  2. I don't like the idea of nuking up, but there is no violation of NAP here (except taxation). A libertarian and Constitutionalist can support a small government with serious defense capabilities.

Whether it makes sense to dump $$$ into nukes is another question.

    2. A nuclear arsenal is per se not defensive - its the most aggressive, indiscriminate form of weaponry ever created

    3. Sure it is. It is a deterrent. If you attack me, we will nuke you. Defensive.
Libertarians can desire anything they want regarding nukes, but the reality is other countries have them and to not have them can lead to invasion.
When was the last nuclear power the US invaded?
      Exactly.

      "Except taxation".
      "Except taxation"?
Funny all this time I thought theft was one of the ultimate violations of the NAP.

  4. I would like to comment on those who say Trump's tweet is no big deal. This is just the same issue that Jon Stewart had. When he was serious he claimed credit. When he made a mistake he claimed "It's only comedy folks!". Trump's tweet is alarming. I offer no Twitter exemption for Donald Trump.
