NOT GOOD: Trump Considering Super War Hawk for Secretary of Defense

The Hill is reporting that  retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn "could be in the running for secretary of Defense or director of National Intelligence."

This is one scary dude.

I wrote after he spoke on Monday at the Republican National Convention:
He looks like the type that would rip the guts out of an enemy soldier he had just killed and take the guts back to a fox hole for dinner. I'm talking seriously insane...
And, as if he needed to make clear after 10 minutes into his talk that he lives for killing, at the end of his speech not once but twice he called out the neocon war cry, "American exceptionalism."
And, by the way, his recent book, The Field of Fight: How We Can Win the Global War Against Radical Islam and Its Allies , was ghost written by the neocon on steroids, Michael Ledeen.

  1. This plays to a segment of the electorate that Trump wants to vote for him. Not a big enough segment to win, but, whatever. Funny thing about Flynn is that the DIA report that said the US created ISIS (or allowed its creation, same diff) came out under his watch. I showed the DIA report to one of these rabid types and encountered textbook cognitive dissonance. Maybe it was purely partisan, maybe not. Strange character, and terrible company (his ghostwriter) for sure.

    1. thats along the lines of what i was thinking; the RP base hated the useless bunch of tools like Bush as so many big talkers but always at some point would quietly fold their tents and disappear into the night and collecting a fat pile of cash on the way.
Trump was brought in to stop that base blowing out of the two party structure and thats what we need.
