Bernie Sanders has told a Bloomberg breakfast with reporters that he'll return to the Senate as an Independent, not a Democrat: 'I was elected as an Independent.'
This comes after he told his followers at the Democratic National Convention to support Hillary Clinton.
Bernie followers' support for Hillary has just gotten a lot more shaky--and it was already shaky.

Excellent! The more both party's have their roots chopped the better. Whatever hurts the democrat party hurts the Republican Party . This is good stuff.
