Trump Pulls WaPo Press Credentials

Following a Washington Post headline that read: 'Donald Trump Suggests President Obama Was Involved With Orlando Shooting,' the Trump campaign has pulled their press credentials.

Trump issued the following statement on his Facebook page:
Based on the incredibly inaccurate coverage and reporting of the record setting Trump campaign, we are hereby revoking the press credentials of the phony and dishonest Washington Post.
Trump had posted to Facebook nearly 20 minutes earlier “to show you how dishonest the phony Washington Post is.”

“I am no fan of President Obama, but to show you how dishonest the phony Washington Post is, they wrote, ‘Donald Trump suggests President Obama was involved with Orlando shooting’ as their headline,” Trump said. “Sad!”

  1. The Washington Post historically is the voice of the CIA; NOBODY should be bothered by those paid propagandist presstitutes being banned from doing their dirty work. Let them learn how to report the facts for once...

    1. Right on. If WaPo can't be decent and civilized it deserves to be cut off. Trump raises general standards for sanity and decency.

  2. Lying for corporate and CIA payolla is their only revenue stream. Why would they ever be caught dead telling the truth.

  3. I am most disturbed by this story at the end of the Trump campaign comment that Amazon is just concerned about being sued cause they are a monopoly that is putting retail stores out of business.
So, is Trump going to decide how we sell and trade, what's fair and what's not? Pick the winners and losers? Amazon is putting retail stores out of business so we shut them down? Boy, I can see a lot of progress (not) in the Market if this crap happens.

    1. Trump says that by using WaPo as a liberal mouthpiece he's getting favorable treatment by the administration. He's just letting them know that he's aware of their tax manipulations and will close that loophole. That has made an already tense relationship worse. He's not deciding how people will buy and sell, but you must see that politics is being played as a game of billionaires. As I've said about Trump- better to have puppet master than puppet.

    2. monopolies are the opposite of free....surely a wannabe should know this....kind of like fed reserve money supply is the opposite of a free economy....families controlling the fed reserves get to pick the leaders of the various industrial complexes (security, information, food, trade, health, political....) and thus have macro control of first world economies

    3. I guess it depends on whether you think monopolies are a good thing or bad .....

  4. I missed where he said to shut down Amazon.

  5. @postpolitics He didn't ban them from covering him. Please read and THINK about what you read. They are no longer given access such as at rallies or interviews. He's not shutting them down. No one can do that. Understand? They'll have to get their story second-hand, that's all.

  6. Josh --- Trump is far from perfect, and not a true free marketeer who can appreciate "creative destruction" ----- but at least he is not a full blown Marxist like Killary is. We have to suck it up and support him.

  7. “The Washington Post historically is the voice of the CIA;” “Lying for corporate and CIA payolla is their only revenue stream.” “ If WaPo can't be decent and civilized it deserves to be cut off.” Therefore, should Trump decide to “Pick the winners and losers” and put Amazon and the WaPo “out of business”, well that can only be a good thing. Right?
