Trump Names Former Soros Money Manager as Trump National Campaign Finance Chair

This is really not going to go down well with the Trump fanboys.

Donald Trump has not only named a bankster to head his national finance campaign, to run his money raising efforts now that he has determined that he will not self-finance his general election, but a bankster that used to work for George Soros and also spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs.

According to WSJ, Steven Mnuchin, was today named as Trump campaign national finance chair.

Mnuchin, according to Bloomberg, is a Co-Founder, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Dune Capital Management LP. He co-founded OneWest Bank Group LLC in 2004 and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He is a Founder of Dune Real Estate Partners LP. He was an Investment Professional of Soros Fund Management LLC.

Mnuchin also spent 17 years at Goldman Sachs where he was a Partner.  According to Variety, Mnuchin built a $46 million fortune at Goldman before leaving the firm.

He serves as a Director on the Yale Development Board and a member of the board of the Los Angeles Police Foundation.

Here is the full list of his major affiliations:

The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.
CIT Group Inc.
Soros Fund Management LLC
ESL Investments, Inc.

  1. But, but ... Trump is just playing the long-game so he can usher in a new era of libertarian foreign policy!

  3. Soros directly funded Hillary. Anybody in this campaign fundraising arena is going to have connections like those. Trump said he will stay outside the fundraising and it is being done for the entire Republican Party. I hate the Banksters more then anyone but Trump promised to audit the Fed in the first 100 days of his Presidency, he said 'No Globalism', he's obviously not pro open borders. He also has no reason to run unless he really wants to help America. He doesn't need the money. He's not taking a salary. He's outed the corruption. You can't find fundraisers that haven't worked with those kinds of people.
