Trump Says If He's Elected President, Amazon Will Have Problems

Donald Trump attacked the Amazon founder and CEO, Jeff Bezos. during an appearance in Texas on Friday, saying that if he becomes president, Amazon is "going to have such problems."

Trump accused Bezos of buying the Washington Post so Amazon would benefit from the "political influence" of the newspaper.

"I have respect for Jeff Bezos, but he bought The Washington Post to have political influence, and I gotta tell you, we have a different country than we used to have," Trump said. "He owns Amazon. He wants political influence so that Amazon will benefit from it. That's not right. And believe me, if I become president, oh, do they have problems. They're going to have such problems."

  2. If Amazon really is seeking krony opportunities, I hope somebody does stand up to them. When Facebook, Amazon, Google use kronyism why is it okay? But when old school manufacturing uses political influence, they are detested by the freedom crowd?

    3. Never said it was, just don't like internet companies getting cozy with the state. Laughing more at my spelling of crony as krony. I must have been thinking of that fake crony action figure commercial that was around a couple years ago.

  4. And so that's your reason for pursuing the presidential race? So that you can punish your enemies and hear the lamentations of their women?
