The CIA Issues Statement on the Death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia

By Robert Wenzel

Now, I am really suspicious about the death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

You can get a pretty good idea of what is about to take place in the world that somehow involves the United States by reading between the lines of what is written in the New York Post.

From a frontpage cover photo of Manuel Noreiga just days before the former CIA director George H.W. Bush ordered an invasion of Panama to rumors about Muammar Gaddafi's crossdressing sex life, you get a very good clue as to who is in, and who is out, inside deep Washington, much earlier than you can by reading establishment rags, such as the New York Times.

You can make some pretty accurate forecasts by following the foreign policy spins put out by this NYC tabloid. I am convinced that for whatever reason, the CIA loves to start spins stories on the frontpage of NyPo.

I consider foreign policy news and news about foreign leaders, originating on the frontpage of NyPo, CIA statements.

Most intriguing today at NyPO is this frontpage  lead story:

This bizarre story, A FRONTPAGE STORY, at NyPo compares JFK assassination conspiracy theorists with Scalia death conspiracy theorists:
Antonin Scalia’s death isn’t much of a puzzle. He was 79 years old and had heart disease. It’s no stretch to conclude he died in his sleep. But some people like to play detective, and the way news of his death spilled from West Texas was bound to fuel conspiracy theories.

It’s reminiscent of the circumstances surrounding another infamous Texas death — John F. Kennedy’s assassination in an open car in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963....

Parkland doctors [gave] a confused press conference minutes after Kennedy’s death was announced. Their misstatements about wounds in Kennedy’s neck led conspiracy theorists to say Kennedy was shot from front and behind...

Scalia’s death also came with misstatements and a failure to investigate. Conspiracy theorists wrongly interpreted the resort owner’s statement that he found Scalia dead in bed with a pillow “over” his head as a hint he was smothered. But the resort owner actually meant the pillow was between Scalia’s head and the headboard, not over his face....

Even worse, the Presidio County judge ruled on Scalia’s death without seeing his body. After checking with the sheriff and Scalia’s doctor, she concluded he died of natural causes. She was no more precise than that, leaving the impression her investigation was not thorough.

"Leaving the impression" it wasn't thorough? Say what?  Declaring a Supreme Court justice dead of natural causes via a phone call is not thorough.

But aside from the absurdity of the story. From my perspective, I am asking: Why is the CIA so concerned about speculation surrounding the death of Scalia that they are going out of their way to blast spin against Scalia conspiracy theorists?

  1. I think they just like to mess with our heads. They leave all these bread crumbs around.
During the Watergate hearings, for example, I was driving out to California and listening to the hearings on the ol' AM radio.
So this guy named Butterfield (not the harmonica guy) blurts out that "Well, there's all these tapes...". I had to pull off the road with a full jaw-drop.
    His employer? The CIA...

  2. Only a person who actually thinks, in the sense of not being hooked into the 'matrix', and who is also as relatively prominent within legitimate intellectual circles of our 'time, would dare suggest such an obviously conspiratorial 'hoodwink' sort of activity as you suggest, by the employment of the New York Post as an instrument of state power.
    I mean seriously...
Who would ever even conceive of such an absurd proposition?
The Chinese 'five year plan' is a joke.
The one running all this works with an entirely different timeline.

  3. Even if it was an assassination, I am already fed up with this regime.

  4. "Nothing to see here, move along." I was ready to accept that an obese, almost 80 yrear old smoker had an MI in his sleep after a meal of rich gourmet food, wine, and a cigar, but the lack of a post mortem of such a high government official is definitely suspicious.

  5. Scalia, the highest-ranking political figure to die under mysterious circumstances since JFK... both Catholic, both dead in Texas. Coincidence? I think not.
