Bevin Orders Road-Fund Cuts

Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin has issued an order cutting the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet budget by $112.5 million.

Bevin’s move was triggered by a forecast of state tax revenues that projects revenues to the state's Road Fund will fall $112.5 million below the $1.56 billion anticipated by the state budget.

A good first step. Any cut in government is a good cut. Let's hope their is much more.
