Ben Carson has opened a double-digit lead over Donald Trump in Iowa, according to a new poll released on Monday by Monmouth University.
According to the poll, 32 percent of likely Republican caucusgoers support Carson, while 18 percent back Trump. They were tied in the same poll in August.
Rand Paul captured 3% of the support measured.
