How Donald Trump Treated a Top New York City Gossip Columnist

Cindy Adams writes at NyPo:

Why Donald Trump sent me a harsh note after his dad died...
I personally relate how Donald’s devotion to those he loves and loved him is strong. From the beginning, I knew his whole family. When his father passed on, I — for whatever my own limitations — neither attended the funeral nor sent condolences.
Donald’s handwritten note to me said he didn’t understand how I could have been so neglectful and he’ll never get over my thoughtlessness. It was harsh. But he was right. It taught me a lesson.
He has loyalties. When my husband was fragile and I felt alone and moved to a new home almost by myself and didn’t quite know how to do it, he brought in his team, proffered their services and personally organized safety devices. He and his security people went room to room. I never forgot that, either.

  1. I do feel Trump has what I can only term as a "pathological loyalty" that he seems to both give and demand.

There's obviously good and bad to that...in the extreme if he had a good friend murder his wife I could see him supporting that friend.
