Finally, We Know What Libertarian-ish Means

As a follow up to my posts, Yes, Rand Paul Did Win the Debate and An Examination of How Rand Paul Did in the Debate, a close observer of the Rand Paul campaign, who is also has pretty good libertraian credentials, called me yesterday and said:

Bob, I think you have identified what it means to be "libertarian-ish." It doesn't mean someone who is libertarian on some issues. It means someone who is always for some kind of government intervention, but couches the government intervention in a way that will snooker true libertarians who aren't paying close attention into thinking something libertarian is being advocated.
