Rand Paul: Indictments Of Campaign Allies Are A “Minor Hiccup”

 Rand Paul called the charges against his political allies a “minor hiccup” for his campaign while stumping in South Carolina on Friday.

“I think it’ll be a minor hiccup but I don’t think it’ll affect us at all,” Rand said in an interview with BuzzFeed News.

“Campaign finance regulations are very complicated and I’m assuming the lawyers and accountants will figure this one out eventually,” Rand said.

Accountants will figure this out? Is Rand serious? Is that why Jesse Benton is being represented by $750 per hour Roscoe Howard Jr.?

Rand may, or may not, be aware of this, but close observers of the situation believe that Rand is the ultimate target.

Note well: The indicted Dmitri Kesari worked in Kentucky on the campaign that put Rand in the Senate.
