In his most recent comments on climate change,Pope Francis took an exceptionally radical leftist stand.
He said in a July 21 address to 70 mayors, representing cities around the world that there is “overwhelming scientific evidence regarding human-induced climate change."
Further, showing no understanding of the basic differences and incentives of the economic structure of public land ownership versus private property as the driver of deforestation, during his speech the Pope called attention particularly to the environmental problems caused by deforestation and by mining.
