Libertarians for Trump?

Michael Edelstein emails:

Bob,

This Root excerpt was sent to me by a libertarian active with the Free State Project. It reflects the sorry perspective of some individuals who regard themselves as libertarians.

If you think it would be of interest to your readers, feel free to publish it.

Warmly, Michael

The other day I explained to everyone why I'm going to vote for Donald Trump in the GOP primary. Some of my libertarian friends reacted with harumphs! and dismay. So here comes Wayne Allyn Root, the 2008 Libertarian Party candidate for Vice President of the United States. Here's what he says about Trump's campaign:
Trump is doing something no Republican has the chutzpah to do...questioning our relationship with Mexico, questioning why the border is wide open, questioning why no wall has been built across the border, questioning if allowing millions of illegal aliens into America is in our best interest, questioning why so many illegal aliens commit violent crimes yet are not deported, questioning why our trade deals with Mexico, Russia and China are so bad.
Donald Trump has the audacity to ask out loud why American workers always get the short end of the stick? Good question.

I’m certain Trump will question what happened to the almost billion dollars given in a rigged no-bid contract to college friends of Michele Obama at foreign companies to build the defective Obamacare web sites. By the way that tab is now up to $5 billion.

Trump will ask if Obamacare’s architects can be charged with fraud for selling it by lying. He will ask if Obama himself committed fraud when he said, “If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it.”

Trump will investigate Obama’s widespread IRS conspiracy, not to mention Obama’s college records.

Trump will prosecute Hillary Clinton and Obama for fraud committed to cover-up Benghazi before the election.

How about the fraud committed by employees of the Labor Department when they made up dramatic job numbers in the last jobs report before the 2012 election.          Obama, the multi-national corporations and the media need to stop this. They recognize this could get out of control. If left unchecked telling the raw truth and asking questions everyone else is afraid to ask, Donald could wake a sleeping giant.

Trump’s election would be a nightmare. Obama has committed many crimes. No one else but Donald would dare to prosecute. Donald Trump will not hesitate. Once Donald gets in and gets a look at “the cooked books” and Obama’s records, the game is over. The gig is up. The goose is cooked.

Eric Holder could wind up in prison. Valerie Jarrett could wind up in prison. Obama bundler Jon Corzine could wind up in prison for losing $1.5 billion of customer money.

Hillary Clinton could wind up in jail for deleting 32,000 emails, or accepting bribes from foreign governments while Secretary of State, or for “misplacing” $6 billion as head of State Department, or for lying about Benghazi.

The entire upper level management of the IRS could wind up in prison. Obamacare will be defunded and dismantled. The Obama Crime Family will be prosecuted for crimes against the American people. And Obama himself could wind up ruined, his legacy in tatters.

Trump will investigate. Trump will prosecute. Trump will go after everyone involved…just for fun. That will all happen on Trump’s first day in the White House.          Who knows what Donald will do on day #2?

That’s why the dogs of hell have been unleashed on Donald Trump. That’s why we must all support Donald. This may be our only shot at saving America, uncovering the crimes committed against our nation and prosecuting all of those involved. You can read the whole piece by Wayne Allyn Root HERE. Pass this on!

RW  note: This is why Trump is so dangerous. He gets the Mussolini juices flowing in many. I really don't want a  "can do"  type in office, who is going to "fix everything" and "help American workers".
Help American workers how? These  Trump advicates, and Trump himself, really need lessons in comparative advantage..

As for putting Obama and Hillary in jail, that is somewhere between 10,000 and 100,000 on what I would like to see done list. What we need is someone who wants to shrink government, and then shrink it more, not putting some "can do" crazy in charge, who has no understanding. of the extremely dangerous nature of central planning.

  1. Root showed his neocon colors during after his failed campaign bid with Bob Barr so its no surprise that he's stumping for him. I wouldn't be surprised if that other clown Eric Dondero started to stump for him too.

  2. Classic statist thinking. If only our guy were in power, he could use state power to throw bad guys in jail and enforce our chosen policies on everyone.

The only question for an actual libertarian is whether Trump would reduce state power or expand it. There is no question he would expand it. There's the answer to how libertarian it would be to vote for Trump.

  3. I can see the logic in voting for Trump or Sanders -- hasten the collapse so that it ends sooner.

Have a particularly mentally demanding day ahead of you? If so, eating some brain boosting foods can do the trick to help you stay focused, concentrated, improve your mental performance and help you maintain your ideal blood sugar levels. While eating at regular times throughout the day will help promote better performance due to stable blood sugar levels, certain foods can help you go one step further. Here are three different snacks to consider...

  5. Trump, being a non-politician, has the ability to tell the truth. Of course, if he ever manages to get elected and becomes a politician, that freedom he now enjoys would disappear.

  6. Donald Trump is not the libertarian candidate you want, he is the libertarian candidate you need.

  7. I'm wondering when the lynch mob mentality with both sides of the establishment and all major media/news networks is gonna end.. It also seems many key libertarians such as Stossel and Ron Paul are also against him.. So it seems they'd all rather have the Clintons back.. I can't understand why though because the other leaders would think twice before messing with Donald.. They won't respect Hillary.. Get ready for WWIII..
