Politician Most Fun to Watch

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla) is considering running for Senate next year. I hope he does.

Mother Jones reports that  the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has already settled on a candidate, Rep. Patrick Murphy, but Grayson believes that "our voters will crawl over hot coals to vote for me."

He is quite the crazed lefty, but he sure does know how to grill the Fed:

and he is great on the absurdity of ISIS as a threat to the US:

Both very important positions that challenge the establishment.

That said, he is still a politician (and a lefty at that), but if we must have crazed lefty politicians, I prefer those who will surprise and aggressively challenge the establishment at times, and it is a bonus if they are entertaining while doing it. Grayson is entertaining:

Here, here! I prefer to know where someone stands on the issues and that they have principled reasons for those positions, even if their thoughts are on the opposite end of mine. This means they cannot be readily swayed by special interest monies or NGOs. A least you don't have a surprise when someone votes a specific way. I'd rather be "attacked" from the front so as to have a chance to parry, avoid, or minimize the damage, than be stabbed in the back by the majority of these corrupt leeches.

And certainly at least there can be some common ground with Grayson. I admire anyone that attempts to drain the cesspool that is DC, even if we don't see eye to eye on most things.

After reading Peter Dale Scott's, "The Road to 9/11" these "statesman" (sic) are sadly a drop into the bucket compared to the "deep state" that's really running the show.
