Dave Goldberg, the Husband of Facebook's COO, Dies Suddenly

Dave Goldberg, SurveyMonkey CEO and husband of Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, died suddenly Friday night, his family announced Saturday. He was 47.

Curiously, as of early Sunday morning, despite several notices of the death, the Washington Post in its stories failed to mention that Goldberg sat on the board of Graham Holdings, which until a recent sale to Amazon's Jeff Bezos owned the Post.

Graham Holdings continues to own and publish Slate and Foreign Policy. It also owns several television stations, the Kaplan education centers and several healthcare companies.

Several reports indicate that Goldberg was vacationing with his wife overseas at the time of his death, however, none of the reports indicate exactly where the couple was vacationing.
