Christie’s Wife Quits as Managing Director at Wall Street Firm

Mary Pat Christie, the wife of Chris Christie, resigned as a managing director from the hedge fund manager, Angelo, Gordon & Co., raising speculation that New Jersey Governor Christie will soon announce that he will enter the crowded field for 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

“Mrs. Christie has decided to take a hiatus from her work in the finance world to spend more time with her family and young children,” Kevin Roberts, a spokesman for the governor said.
