Harry Reid Has Eye Surgery....

...on the eye he hurt during an "exercise accident."

WSJ reports:
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid..., who sustained a number of injuries in an exercise accident earlier this month, was recuperating at home...

The three-and-a-half-hour surgery Monday involved removing a blood clot in Mr. Reid’s right eye, repairing bones around the eye, and removing additional blood from the front of his eye. Mr. Reid was under full anesthesia throughout the surgery, his office said.

  1. Most likely punched very hard over 5 time, possibly up to 10.

Injuries sustained are those you expect from someone being punched. An exercise accident can't cause these kind of focused injuries.

  2. "Mr. Reid was under full anesthesia prior, during, and forever after the surgery, his office said."

    There you go, WSJ...FIFY.

  4. As I mentioned in a previous comment, it probably was. Resistance bands, which he was purportedly using, can be very dangerous. I had met a fellow who suffered a broken jaw and lost teeth due to an accident with one of those devices.

Look Harry Reid is scumbag, but making stuff up is stupid.
