DNC Chair Slams MSNBC for Anti-Israel Bias

Chuck Ross at The Daily Caller reports:
Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz offered a series of candid remarks at a recent event in Florida, slamming MSNBC over what she claims is its anti-Israel bias, breaking with the Obama administration by identifying recent terrorists as Islamic, and questioning intermarriage and assimilation for Jewish people.
The Florida congresswoman’s eye-opening comments came at a breakfast event held earlier this month at a south Florida branch of the Jewish Federation.
As for her problem with Jews marrying outside the faith:
"We have the problem of assimilation. We have the problem of intermarriage,” Wasserman Schultz said after mentioning her husband, who she seemingly met through the Jewish Federation.
“We have the problem that too many generations of Jews don’t realize the importance of our institutions strengthening our community — particularly with the rise of antisemitism and global intolerance, which obviously we saw in horrific technicolor in just the last week in Paris.”

  3. These days being "anti-Isreal" or "anti-semitic" means not worshiping the state of Israel and everything it's government does. Are people really THAT clueless?

  4. I think as long as 100 times as many Palestinian children die as Israeli children and msnbc spends 100 times as much time to show the Palestinian perspective (and not more) you could call it balanced and not bias against Israel. I never watch msnbc but I doubt that they exceed that ratio. Oh and correct me if I am wrong but fortunately there was not a single Israeli child that was killed in the latest conflict? And how many Palestinian children died? 200 or 300? too many for sure.
If I were such an enthusiastic supporter of Israel as Mrs Schulz I'd be thankful that the casualties and the military capabilities are much more unbalanced than the media coverage.

  5. I can't wait for my kids to marry outside of the "faith" or more candidly let's call it the cult. (hopefully they'll go with the opposite sex too although who knows with all the junk they're fed at school and popular media.)
