Rand Paul Reveals What Happened When He Was Attacked

Dr. Marc Siegel sat down with Senator Rand Paul this week and they discussed what happened when Rand was attacked at his home in Kentucky. Dr. Siegel reports:
The senator explained to me the nature of his injury.

“It happened on impact, it was either the initial impact, it was like a spearing injury like the NFL made illegal – to spear people from behind,” Paul said. “Basically, I was completely

Some Common Sense Advice From Pamela Anderson on How to Deal With Harvey Weinstein Types

During an interview with Megyn Kelly, Pamela Anderson said the women who were sexually abused by Harvey Weinstein might not have been victimized if they were just more careful with him.

“Don’t go into a hotel room alone. If someone answers the door in a bathrobe, leave,” said Anderson. “It was common knowledge that certain producers or certain people in Hollywood are people to avoid, privately. You know what you’re getting into if you’re going into a hotel room alone.”

When asked to talk about her previous interactions with Weinstein, Anderson said the mogul came off as “very intimidating” while working together in the past. She went on to say she was not surprised when Weinstein’s sex misconduct came to light since it was “common knowledge” for her.

Kelly went total idiot and asked if women shouldn’t have had anything to fear after their agents set them up for meetings with Weinstein. Anderson responded that the victims still should’ve had someone accompany them to those meetings.

BREAKING: ABC News Suspends Brian Ross for 4 Weeks for Reporting Fake News

ABC News has just announced that it has suspended investigative reporter Brian Ross for four weeks without pay after Ross was forced to correct a bombshell on-air report about Michael Flynn.

"We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made yesterday. The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross during the special report had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process," ABC said in a statement. "As a result of our continued reporting over the next several hours ultimately we determined the information was wrong and

Corey Lewandowski Unloads on What It Was Like Working for Trump

By Michael Kranish

Elton John blares so loudly on Donald Trump’s campaign plane that staffers can’t hear themselves think. Press secretary Hope Hicks uses a steamer to press Trump’s pants — while he is still wearing them. Trump screams at his top aides, who are subjected to expletive-filled tirades in which they get their “face ripped off.”

And Trump’s appetite seems to know no bounds when it comes to McDonald’s, with a dinner order consisting of “two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted.”

The scenes are among the most surreal passages in a forthcoming book chronicling Trump’s path to the presidency co-written by Corey Lewandowski, who was fired as Trump’s campaign manager, and David Bossie, another top aide. The book, “Let Trump Be Trump,” paints a portrait of a campaign with

Meghan Markle is a Chomskyite and Chomsky Thinks That's Great

Meghan Markle, who is engaged to Prince Harry and whose mother is a black Californian yoga instructor with dreadlocks, is a fan of Noam Chomsky.

The Evening Standard reports, Markle is a self-confessed lover of Chomsky's work, saying she "highly recommended" his book 'Who Rules the World' in an Instagram post last year.

Interesting, Chomsky is pretty good on imperial power but doesn't have a clue about economics or libertarianism.

From the blurb to the book:
In an incisive, thorough analysis of the current international situation, Noam Chomsky examines the way that

BREAKING: Trump Supporter Hospitalized After Being Viciously Attacked at Harvard Coop By Antifa Members

Cassandra Fairbanks reports:
Matthias Thorpe, a co-organizer for the Boston free speech rallies, was brutally attacked by a mob of Antifa on Friday evening — resulting in multiple fractures in his face.

Thorpe, 28, and a few friends had attended a discussion about Antifa featuring Mark Bray, the author of the Anti-Fascist Handbook at the Harvard Coop. He stated that they had not attended with intentions to shut down the event or disrupt it, but did ask meaningful questions about the implications of communism — such as asking if fascism that killed six million people is worse than communist fascism which has killed approximately 100 million people.

“He never answered my question, but people in the crowd recognized me because my picture was on one of the Antifa websites,” Thorpe told Gateway Pundit.

The group was eventually thrown out of the event as they lightly trolled towards the end, chanting “Trump” and “build the wall.”

Once outside, Thorpe said that he and his friends stuck around to attempt to have discussions with others who had attended. He stated that he had a few interesting interactions and everything was going reasonably well.

Around 9 p.m., as he was planning to leave, a woman walked out of the Coop, pointed to him and began shouting that he is a “Nazi.”

“Before I could even respond this girl tries to hit me, so I defend myself and all of a sudden someone came up behind me and grabbed me. There was a whole swarm of them around me punching me in the face,” Thorpe said.

Thorpe was being assaulted with the fists of a mob that he believes was “at least 7-10 people.”...

Once he broke free, the group began mocking him and shouting things like “run Nazi, run,” leading to him running back into the group and throwing a punch. “The group came in and swarmed me again and began punching me over and over,” he said.

Eventually, Thorpe found himself on the ground, covered in blood, swollen and in a lot of pain. His face is fractured in three places — so severely that a bone completely detached.
It really doesn't make sense to challenge these guys physically or to plunge back into their crowd after they hit you. These guys are very violent.

Dershowitz on What the Flynn Plea Deal Means

Alan Dershowitz tells Politico:
A bought witness who has pleaded guilty to lying will not have much credibility. He is only valuable if he can provide self-proving information or leads. What I don’t understand is why Flynn would lie about urging the Russians to veto or delay the Security Council resolution condemning Israeli settlements. That lame-duck resolution wrongly tied the hands of the incoming president and the request was entirely proper. Perhaps Flynn mistakenly thought the Logan Act, which prohibits unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments in relation to a dispute with the United States, was still good law—which it isn’t.

Alex Whiting, professor at Harvard Law School, adds:
Flynn’s plea and cooperation agreement is a very significant development in the Mueller investigation for at least three reasons. First, Flynn admits that when he spoke with Russian Ambassador Kislyak in December 2016, in violation of the Logan Act, about sanctions imposed on Russia and a vote concerning Israeli settlements, he did so under the direction of senior Trump transition team officials. It is difficult to believe that both Trump and Pence were unaware of Flynn’s interventions with the Russians. Second, it seems that Flynn got a very good deal today, indicating that he is offering extremely important information as part of his cooperation.
Of course, if Flynn fails to fulfill his end of the bargain and does not provide full cooperation, Mueller can tear up the agreement and charge him with all available crimes. But the fact that Mueller agreed to just one charge with a low penalty indicates that Flynn has a lot to offer. Trump officials and the president himself have to be feeling extremely nervous about this development. After all, today’s plea is important for the ongoing investigation of obstruction of justice by Trump. Remember that Trump went to great lengths to try to shut down the Flynn investigation. Now we may know why. If today’s reports that Flynn has direct evidence against Trump are accurate, it would suggest that Trump was seeking to end the Flynn probe to save himself, and that would plainly be obstruction of justice. This investigation still has a long way to go, and it seems likely that additional officials will be getting a knock on the door sooner or later from Mueller’s team.

Michael Flynn Flips: Willing to Testify Against Trump!!

Michael Flynn will reportedly testify that President Trump instructed him to make contact with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign, ABC News is reporting.

This is developing story. Return to this post for updates.

UPDATE 1

“[Flynn] is prepared to testify...against President Trump, against members of the Trump family, and

Jose Ines Garcia Zarate and The Case of a Tool to Fight the State Gone Bad: Jury Nullification of a Murder Charge?

I really haven't followed the case of  Jose Ines Garcia Zarate close enough to know whether he should have been convicted of first-degree murder or not. But with a cursory knowledge of the case, it would seem he should, at a minimum, have been convicted of involuntary manslaughter.

But the San Francisco jury set him free without a conviction on any count.

Reports suggest that the jury might have done this in a rebuke to the anti-immigrant posturing and statements of President Trump. And, indeed, that might well be the case. If so, it is a form of jury nullification, responding against the state as represented by President Trump and his views on illegal immigrants.

If so, this is another example that shows that most anti-state measures from separatist movements and revolutions to even jury nullification are only tools. They can move us toward the NAP or away from the NAP. Thus, they can be good or bad.Never cheer the use of the toll before asking: What will the outcome be?

In this case, jury nullification may have resulted in a murderer, that is a horrific violator of the NAP, getting away with it.

Marxist Origins of Hate-Speech Legislation and Political Correctness

Recently, the Cato Institute ran a very important panel discussion on the Marxist origins of hate-speech legislation and political correctness.

The two panelists were Christina Hoff Sommer and Flemming Rose.

Rose spoke first, explaining how the Soviet Union and others used hate-speech legislation and political correctness to wipe out dissent.

Sommer followed with a powerful presentation describing the current state of political correctness on college campuses and why it is so difficult to use logic when discussing views with social justice warriors. She was particularly illuminating on the history and rise of  Intersectionality Theory.

Find the time to watch this. You will not fully understand what is going on at college campuses today and also its historical context without being aware of what is presented in this video.

EXCELLENT: There is Now a Children's Version of 'Atlas Shrugged'

Just in time for Christmas, there is a child's version of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged.

The Tuttle Twins and the Search for Atlas is written by Connor Boyack.

From the blurb for The Tuttle Twins and the Search for Atlas:
In a world filled with consumers, what happens if the producers give up and leave? And how can people better practice personal responsibility and not have a sense of entitlement about the things they think they deserve?
Ethan and Emily Tuttle tackle these questions in their latest adventure, this time as
