Murray Sabrin on Hillary Clinton's Moment

Murray Sabrin sent the following letter to the editor of  North Jersey's The Record:

Regarding "Clinton's moment," page O–1, October 18 by John Heilemann, whose essay sounds more like a press release from Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign rather than an objective review of what Mrs. Clinton said in the first Democratic presidential debate.

Although Mr. Heilemann gives Mrs. Clinton high marks for responding to Lincoln Chafee's criticism of her vote to invade Iraq, the fact of the matter is Mrs. Clinton embraces the neoconservative foreign policy of invading or intervening in Middle East countries that are no threat to our national security so the federal government can "spread democracy" to that part of the world.

Interestingly, Mr. Heilemann did not report that Mrs. Clinton supports a no-fly zone in Syria, a policy that could lead to a direct confrontation with the Russian military fighting ISIS in that country. If Hillary Clinton were so “smart,” as Heilman claims, why would she risk confrontation with Russia and thus possibly trigger a war between our countries.  Does Mrs. Clinton believe that we have not been involved in enough military intervention since 9/11?

It is a fair assumption that many of Mrs. Clinton's supporters opposed the war in Iraq and probably do not support a no-fly zone in Syria. Yet, they still fanatically support her campaign because Mrs. Clinton would be the first woman president if she were elected and she wants to expand the welfare state at home.

In short, the military-industrial complex can sleep well at night knowing that Hillary Clinton would occupy the Oval Office.  This alone is enough reason Mrs. Clinton should not be elected president of the United States.

Sanders and His Followers Are Not Outliers

Depending on one’s point of view, Bernie Sanders either held his own or boosted his chances against perceived front-runner Hillary Clinton in Tuesday night’s Democratic presidential primary debate. His message clearly resonated with the live audience, particularly his statements about raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour, global warming, and government-mandated paid childcare leave.

Progressives are emboldened by Sanders, who reportedly draws upward of 20,000 people at events. He inspires them with his attacks on capitalism, happily calling himself a “Democratic Socialist.” And his economic plans, while a mess, appeal to their radical (and disastrous) notions of egalitarianism.

Trump Gives Thumbs Up to Hillary Debate Perfromance

Donald Trump praised Hillary Clinton for her debate performance last night, saying “she did what she had to do.”

“It was a very calm, very nice, very easy debate,” Trump told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” by phone this morning. Trump live-tweeted the entire debate and slammed all the Democratic candidates as “very scripted and rehearsed.”

“You were bored weren’t you,” host Joe Scarborough asked, clearly having taken a scroll of Trump’s twitter feed.

“It wasn’t a very exciting debate. I wanted to turn, but I promised people I was going to tweet,” Trump admitted.

Trump had some strong opinions on his potential Democratic opponents, including dismay that Bernie Sanders did not present a strong enough challenge to Clinton:

I think Bernie, actually, for the sake of a good soundbite, let her off the hook. You have an FBI investigation on the emails, and he just let her off … I think that when you’re losing – because he is losing badly if you look nationally – when you’re losing that badly, you have to go a lot stronger.

“The other potential candidates, a couple of those shouldn’t have been up there,” Trump said before adding he had hoped to see Joe Biden on stage.

In the end, Trump declared Clinton the clear winner:

She did her job. In all fairness, like her or not, she did her job. And they were very, very timed, and they probably, if they want to win, they really should’ve been a lot tougher in my opinion.

Trump to Live-Tweet Democratic Presidential Debate

The debate airs on CNN tonight  and will feature Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb, and Lincoln Chafee.

According to NyPo, moderator Anderson Cooper has already indicated that he will ask the Democrats question about Trump, which will insert him into the conversation on stage if the candidates don’t bring him up themselves.

Was a Supreme Court Justice Messing With Matt Drudge's Head

In a comment that is taking on a life of its own, during an appearance on Alex Jones’s Infowars.
Matt Drudge said:

[On the future of digital copyright] I had a Supreme Court justice tell me to my face it’s over for me. He said,"Matt, it’s over for you. They’ve got the votes now to enforce copyright law. You’re out of there. They’re gonna make it so headlines–you can’t even use headlines."

You thought Obamacare was shocking… wait until these copyright laws work their way up, and the Supreme Court decides you cannot have a website with news headlines linking across the board. Then that will end for me. 

It is difficult for me to see why any major news organization would have a problem with headlines and links being copied.

Links drive traffic. And Matt Drudge is at the top of the traffic driving list. He is driving major traffic to all the top news media outlets. It is extremely valuable traffic. In fact, any day of the week, all day long, I would pay Drudge $5,000 for every link that he would put up to this site and I would still make money.

That said, maybe there is some insane news media outfit that would like to see Drudge knocked out in the hopes they would gain ALL his traffic. But that doesn't make good sense. Drudge links to mostly major news organizations that Drudge visitors are not likely to go to on their own.

Further, the prohibiting of links and headlines, would also be a problem for Google search engines.

Now, Hillary Clinton, and some other politicians might want Drudge knocked off, but I don't think the crony designers of the trade bill do, so I really doubt it is going to happen.

WOW,Chelsea Clinton Asked If Hillary Ever Told Her That Webb Hubbell is Her Father

You really have to want power really bad to subject your kid to this kind of stuff.

Bill and Hillary sat Chelsea down, at an early age, and prepared her for all the vicious things that might be said to her. The "preparation" apparently paid off.

In a new video clip, Robert Murrow, co-author of  The Clintons' War on Women, is seen  asking Chelsea if Hillary ever told her that Webb Hubbell was really her father.

FBI Probe of Clinton E-mail Expands to Second Data Company

The effort to knock Hillary out of the presidential race continues.

This is a serious operation. It seems pretty obvious that Republican leadership is pushing the investigation, but Obama is not stopping it. Are there even more serious players behind the scenes, who do not want Hillary in the White House?

Here's the latest, from the establishment media outlet, WaPo;

The FBI’s probe into the security of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s e-mail has expanded to include a second private technology company, which said Tuesday it plans to provide the law enforcement agency with data it preserved from Clinton’s account.

The additional data, provided by Connecticut-based Datto Inc., could open a new avenue for investigators interested in recovering e-mails deleted by the former secretary of state — now the Democratic presidential front-runner — that have caught the interest of GOP lawmakers.

Datto’s work on the Clinton e-mail system became public Tuesday when the Republican chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee sent the company a lengthy letter seeking information about the role it and other firms played in managing the Clinton e-mail system.

Datto was hired to provide back-ups for the Clinton e-mail accounts starting in May 2013 by Platte River Networks, the Colorado-based tech firm hired earlier that year by the Clinton family to manage the system after Hillary Clinton concluded her term as secretary.

Hillary Clinton pulled in $28 million for her 2016 presidential bid in the third fundraising quarter of the year, just a few million more than insurgent candidate Bernie Sanders and a sharp drop from her record-setting $47.5 million haul in the spring, reports WaPo.

Bernie must be stopped by any political means possible.

Hillary Clinton's Real View on Rapists

In our new book The Clintons’ War on Women, which will be published by Skyhorse on October 13th, we demonstrate how shamelessness is a condition that the Clintons have perfected to an art form.

Take, for example, Hillary’s recent pledge, as reported by Ruby Cramer, to crack down on campus rape and her encouraging words to sexual assault survivors: “Don’t let anyone silence your voice. You have the right to be heard … to be believed. And we’re with you.” In fact, we argue, Hillary Clinton has enabled rape and denigrated sex victims.

Ironically, Bill Clinton’s first alleged rape was of a 19-year-old coed named Eileen Wellstone. We believe that he was not prosecuted because the State Department did not want a Rhodes Scholar charged with rape.

Hillary is the woman who has been in an arguably sham marriage and a cynical political union with Bill Clinton for 41 years. Hillary was the one who was hiring private detectives, such as Ivan Duda, since 1982 so that she could get the names and addresses of Bill’s girlfriends so that she could “get rid of all these bitches he’s seeing.”

This is the same woman who was allegedly fully aware of Bill’s 1978 alleged rape of campaign volunteer Juanita Broaddrick in real time. As we reveal in The Clintons’ War on Women, according to former Clinton insider Larry Nichols, Hillary came running into the Clinton HQ and said, “You won’t believe what the motherf___r [Bill] just did. He tried to rape some bitch!”  That blockbuster quote is just one of many things in the book that the MSM has carefully tried to keep out of your eyesight.

The book is about Bill Clinton’s long history of allegedly raping and sexually assaulting women and Hillary’s long history of allegedly psychologically raping these women in the aftermath in order to silence them lest they interfere with the Clintons’ rise to power.

Bill Clinton supposedly did not just rape Juanita; he allegedly, according to Candice Jackson in Their Lives: The Women Targeted By The Clinton Machine, bit and nearly tore off her upper lip and raped her a second time as she lay frozen on the bed. Bill’s alleged words before he began again were, “My God, I can do it again.”

Hillary believes that rape and sexual assault victims have rights. That is the “right to remain silent,” especially if Bill has allegedly assaulted you, because anything you say “can and will be used against you” by Hillary and Bill Clinton. A few weeks after Bill had allegedly raped and bitten Juanita, Hillary encountered Juanita at a campaign event in the home of a Clinton supporter. Hillary, in cover-up mode, had only one concern, according to Jaunita: keeping Broaddrick quiet during Bill’s race for the governorship in 1978. Juanita described the scene in a 2000 open letter to Hillary:

As soon as you entered the room, you came directly to me and grabbed my hand. Do you remember how you thanked me, saying “we want to thank you for everything that you do for Bill.” At that point, I was pretty shaken and started to walk off. Remember how you kept a tight grip on my hand and drew closer to me? You repeated your statement, but this time with a coldness and look that I have seen many times on television in the last eight years. You said, “Everything you do for Bill.” You then released your grip and I said nothing and left the gathering.

In other words: keep quiet about what Bill did to you!

By 1992, according to Gail Sheehy in the book Hillary’s Choice, cuckold Hillary and Betsey Wright had a list of 26 women they were positive Bill had adulterous affairs with or who he had sexually assaulted. In the view of Hillary, these women were, at various times, “bitches,” “whores,” “sluts,” and, if they were a threat to talk, they were to be “destroyed.”  

Years later, when journalist Melanie Morgan was quizzing him about his role in the 1997 terror campaign to silence Clinton victim Kathleen Willey, private detective Jack Palladino’s alleged cocky answer (though he denies ever making the statement) was, “The only regret that I had about the whole thing was that Hillary did not pay me in a timely fashion… I saved Hillary Clinton’s ass. You’d think she’d be more grateful to me.”

Bill Clinton Hints That Obama Got Special Treatment When He First Ran For the White House

Bill Clinton has completed a taped interview with Fareed Zakaria that is scheduled to be shown later today on CNN.

He thinks the Republicans and reporters who want to see a closer race are behind the focus on Hillary Clinton's emails:

“I have never seen so much expended on so little,” Mr. Clinton said in a taped interview with Fareed Zakaria that is scheduled to be shown Sunday on CNN. The network released excerpts on Saturday afternoon....

The other party doesn’t want to run against her. And if they do, they’d like her as mangled up as possible,” Mr. Clinton said. “And they know that if they leak things and say things, that that is catnip to the people who get bored talking about what’s your position on student loan relief or dealing with the shortage of mental health care, or what to do with the epidemic of prescription drugs and heroin out in America.”... 

Mr. Clinton also faulted the political press corps, which he said was determined to see a competitive contest.

During the interview according to NYT, Clinton also conjured up a decades-old history of political nefariousness. “Ever since Watergate, something like this happens,” . Clinton said, referring to the email scandal which is in high focus by the media.. “And so I’d rather it happen now than later.”

NYT also reports about the CNN interview:

“This is just something that has been a regular feature of all of our presidential campaigns, except in 2008 for unique reasons,” Mr. Clinton said, without elaborating on why he believed that President Obama had not faced similar Republican-led efforts to derail his candidacy.

Uh Oh, FBI Said to Recover Personal E-Mails From Hillary Clinton Server

The FBI has recovered personal and work-related e-mails from the private computer server used by Hillary Clinton during her time as secretary of state, according to a person familiar with the investigation, Bloomberg reports.

Bob you know how I love you and regard you as "plum line" in almost all matters libertarian. BUT this "hate the state" theory that you have been promoting with respect to that sick puppy Hillary does not convince. Why is it obvious that a Clinton agenda of continued wars and more economic fascism (witness her "new" drug proposal yesterday) will somehow translate into good news for libertarianism. First, the fanatic Dems and welfare under-class will love whatever Hillary tries to do...and any failure of her policies will be attributed to what's left of the free market. In short, they are not about to hate the state. Lyndon Johnson was a beast and his policies of War and Welfare a disaster...but did any of that lead to intense hatred of the State...or to more libertarian policies? Ditto for the journalistic class which has zero understanding of economic theory and policy. Higher minimum wages! Yes! Yes! Hate the state? Never in a million years. Hate income inequality but never hate the almight State. And finally a Clinton presidency will give us 2 additional interventionists on the SC which will just about end any economic liberty that remains in the system. Now I know of all of your objections to the SC and even the Constitution (from a libertarian perspective) yet the fact remains that when libertarian leaning jurists ruled the SC between 1875 and 1935, the struck down dozens of State laws and rulings that would have limited economic liberty. In short, I don't see the logic of arguing that a Hillary Presidency gets us any closer to a libertarian tipping point.

My response:

Dear Dominick,

I agree with you almost fully. Hillary is terrible on almost everything, But I don't think there is a Republican in the group that would be much different.The country is just full of people that think the state is the answer to their prayers and all the current presidential candidates will promise anything to them to gain their votes in hopes of being able to sit on the 8 year throne. They all, also, answer to the warmongers. I point to Paul Craig Roberts on foreign policy, who wrote after the last debate:

There is not a peaceful person among the Republican candidates....If any of the Republicans are elected, or for that matter any of the Democrats, war will be the result. 

And on domestic policy, we have everything from Rand Paul proposing a value added tax to Donald Trump calling for a tax on Wall Street.

There is no good choice. That said, I don't expect any miracle conversions of the masses  to a hate of the state. If Hillary is elected just a marginal increase in hate might occur that probably wouldn't develop to the same degree with the other candidates. I believe the march toward liberty is a very long march and a difficult march. I am reminded of what Murray Rothbard wrote in Conceived in Liberty:

No revolution ever sprung forth, fully blown and fully armed like Athena, from the brow of existing society; no revolution has ever emerged from a vacuum. No revolution has ever been born out of preparation, ideological and institutional. And no revolution, even the most radical, from the English Revolution of the seventeenth century to the many Third World revolutions of the twentieth, has ever come into being except in reaction to increased oppression by the existing State apparatus. All revolution is in that sense a reaction against worsening oppression...It takes a long train of abuses to persuade the mass of people to throw off their habitual customs and loyalties and to make revolution...

This is so, I believe, even if we are talking about just political revolution where people demand freedom peacefully through the voting booth.

I must point out,  I have no desire to call for more oppression now, so that at the other end of a very long tunnel, someday, freedom may emerge. But, as I say, I just don't see that much difference between Hillary and the rest of the candidates--nothing significant for sure. So I view the fall back position for libertarians is to advocate that the most hated of the scoundrels be put in power. Maybe some of this Hillary hate may be transferred into broader hate, Again I don't expect a miracle. I get Rothbard's point that it takes "a long train of abuses." But still, because there would be hate of Hillary by some, it would give us libertarians an opportunity to provide those who are inarticulate in explaining their Hillary hate with an explanation in terms of hate for oppressive government.

I hasten to add that if I saw a current candidate who seemed to be reducing the state by a significant amount, I would be cheering that person on. I'm thinking of across the board cutbacks on domestic and foreign government interventions of 25% or more. And, I note Rand is on record calling for a defense budget increase of 16%.

So, if there is a difference between us it is only on a tactical level of who we are cheering on (I am not going to vote for any of them). I know that regardless of who is elected we will both be spending our time pointing out and attacking deviations from freedom, be they deviations of a Rand Paul, Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton Administration. And we are going to have our hands full.

According to Klein, Clinton is secretly facing "mounting health issues" that cannot be ignored.

Hillary Clinton's Lead Over Bernie Sanders Grows

Hillary Clinton's lead in the Democratic presidential primary race has grown -- and if Vice President Joe Biden decides to stay out of the race, her numbers would rise even higher, a new CNN/ORC poll shows.

Clinton is backed by 42% of Democratic primary voters nationally, compared to 24% for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, 22% for Biden.

Go Hillary go, you are the best opportunity to feed hate the state momentum!

COMING Caroline Kennedy Revenge Against Hillary

Emily Smith at NyPo has the dirt:

Talk in Kennedy circles is that Caroline Kennedy is furious over the revelation that a longtime confidant of Hillary Clinton’s secretly sabotaged her bid to become a US senator — and Kennedy may seek her revenge by backing veep Joe Biden if he runs for president.

In June, leaked emails revealed that Hillary henchman Sidney Blumenthal had orchestrated news stories undermining Caroline while she was vying to be appointed to Hillary’s Senate seat in 2008.

Buzzfeed reported that Blumenthal had an arrangement with Tina Brown in which he could commission stories to be written for Brown’s Daily Beast, including two pieces critical of Kennedy, one referring to her as a “puppet” and the other describing her candidacy as an “insult.” Now, orbmagazine.com’s Richard Turley reports Kennedy is being urged by family to resign as US ambassador to Japan and endorse a Biden presidential bid.

Pointing out that Caroline has also had to endure attacks from Donald Trump, the magazine quotes a source: “Rather than stay in Tokyo and let the politicians continue to use her as a punching bag, it would be a profile in courage for her to come home and help elect the person she believes is best qualified to lead the nation.”

NEW CBS POLL: Sanders Up by 20% in New Hampshire

This socialist must be stopped by any political means possible.

The new poll finds Sanders with 52% support among Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire, while Hillary receives 30%.

In Iowa,  Sanders now leads by 10 points, with 43% to Clinton’s 33%.

Not good, be prepared for the terrible, "Is America Ready for Some Socialism" stories and the libertarian message, delivered so powerfully by Ron Paul in the 2008 presidential race, that introduced many to libertarianism, nowhere to be found in the 2016 race.

Just terrible.

Bernie Sanders Pulls Even With Hillary Clinton in New Iowa Poll

Oh boy, I fear the hate of Hillary may be peeking too soon.

.Bernie Sanders has erased Hillary Clinton’s lead in Iowa a new Quinnipiac University poll shows.

The survey showed that 41% of likely Democratic Iowa caucus-goers backed  Sanders, compared to 40% who support Clinton.

Vice President Joe Biden was the favorite of 12% of likely caucus participants.

Socialist Bernie must be stopped by any political means possible.

Hillary in office will do more for generating hate for the state than any other current candidate.

Club for Growth Trying to Mount Anti-Trump Ad Campaign

WaPo reports:

A top conservative group is trying to coax wealthy Republican donors to help fund a multimillion-dollar ad campaign and other efforts against Donald Trump — the latest sign of growing anxiety within GOP circles over the businessman’s dominance in the 2016 race.

But some GOP financers are skeptical of the plan, fearing it will only fuel Trump’s outsider pitch...

Officials with the Club for Growth — a prominent anti-tax group that frequently targets Republicans it deems insufficiently conservative — said Friday that the organization began reaching out to its network of donors in recent weeks to help pay for an anti-Trump TV ad blitz. The organization’s super PAC, Club for Growth Action, would run the ads, the group said.

“What we’ve said to our members is that ‘Trump is a liability to the future of the nation,’ and we’ve asked them for support for Club for Growth Action to get that message out,” Club for Growth President David McIntosh said in a statement to The Washington Post. “We’re also doing research, like we do on candidates, into his economic policy positions. At this point, we haven’t taken anything off the table — be it TV ads or any other means — to expose Trump as not being an economic conservative and as actually being the worst kind of politician.”

Good. Trump and Sanders need to be stopped. Why? Because although their freedom oppressing positions are not much different from the others seeking the 8-year throne, they create freedom hating enthusiasm amongst the masses.

When there are no significant differences between the oppressors, libertarians should favor the most hated of the oppressors, to get the masses leaning toward a hate the state perspective. At this point the most hated is Hillary "Email Criminal" Clinton.
