"Are You Running For Office?"

Robert Wenzel and new friend Michael. (Photo by Steve Simar)

I spent Sunday getting some publicity pictures shot, including for my very soon to be released book, "Foundations of Private Property Society Theory."

The pictures were taken by Target Liberty/EPJ reader, Steve Simar, who is town doing some professional photography for Google. Check out his work.

The shoot was at many locations,  5 hours long and included 3 changes of clothes. (The last time I had a professional shot taken was 30 years ago at a Sears and it took 10 minutes.)

Early during the shoot, the guy above, Michael, wandered onto the scene. It was only 10:00 AM but he was in no condition, shall I say, to drive.

He saw what was going on and asked, "Are you running for office?"

Me: "No, I am trying to shut down all offices."

Michael: "You'll never be able to do that."

Me: "Well, that's what I am working on."

  1. I'd pay to see Robert Wenzel debates against lefty drunks.

  2. I think "Self-ownership society" is a better phrase than "private property society". There are lots of people who will become immediately suspicious if not hostile upon hearing about "private property" who would be perfectly happy to hear about "self-ownership". Libertarians underestimate the thoroughness with which the left has boobytrapped our vocabulary.

    1. Well, you are going to have to read my book then because it explains why I don't consider self-ownership foundational.

  3. Robert not running? I am surprised you're not running for the border! Or rather the exit, in a private property society.
