Roy Moore Wins Alabama GOP Senate Primary

Roy Moore
Republican challenger Roy Moore has defeated Sen. Luther Strange in Alabama's Senate primary.

Moore had 57 percent of the vote to Strange's 43 percent when the Associated Press called the GOP runoff with 43 percent of precincts reporting. Strange, who was appointed earlier this year to fill Attorney General Jeff Sessions' old seat, is the first senator to lose a primary since 2012. Moore will face Democratic nominee Doug Jones in the special general election in December.

Strange was supported by President Trump ans Mitch McConnell but
Trump supporters such as Sarah Palin, Steve Bannon, and Nigel Farage stumped for Moore.

Moore is a nationalist in the worst sense of the word and an evangelical. And he certainly is not against US meddling overseas.

Martin Hill emails:
From Moore's own website: "We must remember that Israel is the United States' most important ally and partner in the Middle East and should reject agreements or policies that undermine Israel's security. We should pass the Taylor Force Act and move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem."
