Slick Explodes; Calls in FBI

Anthony Scaramucci, the new White House communications director, is not in love anymore.

Bloomberg earlier reported that Scaramucci wants to put off a tax bill that could reach millions of dollars on the pending sale of his stake in SkyBridge Capital, "according to people familiar with the matter. "

Bloomberg explained the problem:
The sale was announced before he became a government employee, and that could make him ineligible for a tax break that’s designed to let investors serve in government without getting hit with massive tax penalties, experts say.

Scaramucci entered an agreement to sell the fund-of-hedge-funds firm in January, when he first announced he’d be joining President Donald Trump’s administration. But no government job materialized for months, and that may make the tax break null and void.
But now that Slick is the top apologist for the state, he wants his tax breaks.

And he is pissed word is getting out on this.

But it got worse for Slick. This just came out via Politico:
The incoming White House communications director earned $4.9 million from his ownership stake in SkyBridge in addition to more than $5 million in salary between Jan. 1, 2016, and the end of June, when he joined the Export-Import Bank, according to a financial disclosure filed with the Office of Government Ethics. The disclosure form hasn’t been previously reported...
In his disclosure, Scaramucci listed assets worth as much as $85 million. He has several real estate investments, including single-family rental homes on Long Island.

A minority stake in the New York Mets is worth as much as $5 million. He also is an investor in Juice Press, a chain of snack and smoothie shops in the Northeast.
Scaramucci just tweeted this out in response:
Note the positioning of @Reince45 in the tweet. Hmm. Insider battles at the White House?

Always remember: The more time they spend battling each other and stabbing each other in the back, the less time they have to harass us. Let's have another round!

UPDATE 2

Slick denies:

UPDATE 3

Politico reporter writes Scaramucci filings are a public record---no leak involved.

UPDATE 4

Slick has now deleted the tweet that announced he was notifying the FBI.

UPDATE 5

Slick takes to CNN seems to call out Reince Prebius.

From the clip:

“It’s absolutely completely and totally reprehensible. As you know from the Italian expression, the fish stinks from the head down, but I can tell you two fish that don’t stink, and that’s me and the president. I don’t like the activity going on in the White House. I don’t like what they’re doing to my friend.”
