WHOA: A Private Property Society Like Solution: Delta to Offer Up to $10,000 to Passengers on Overbooked Flights

As I speculated in my post. A Note on a Private Property Society and the United Airlines Passenger Forcibly Removed not only would United Airlines be meeting, to come up with solutions for overbooked flights and how to handle such situations so that passengers in the future wouldn't get manhandled in the manner that a United passenger was, but other airlines would as well.

We have serious proof that this exactly what did occur.

Delta Airlines is now allowing airline employees to offer up to nearly $10,000 to encourage passengers to give up their seats on overbooked flights, according to The Associated Press.

The AP said it obtained an internal Delta memo authorizing the airline’s gate agents to offer as much as $2,000 in compensation for overbooked flights, up from a previous high of $800. Delta supervisors can now offer up to $9,950, up from a $1,350 maximum.

Bump me baby!
