  1. While the speaker is correct in arguing that most muslims are not blowing themselves up, the larger question still remains whether Islam is compatible with western values, and whether it is desirable for western countries to take in large numbers of muslims under a democratic system where the special interest groups are able force their view through legislation onto the larger population. How many such debates does one see taking place in Muslim controlled countries? Do western countries want to open the door to people who do not share the same values and traditions of liberty and freedom that westerners take for granted? It seems that liberty minded individuals have our hands full as it is, without adding yet another group to the mix that has proven itself somewhat of a totalitarian culture.

    1. It doesn't matter that most muslims don't blow themselves up, what matters is that most of the people blowing themselves up are muslim. Diversity+proximity=conflict. Ethnostates work.

    2. Anonymous Man, you bring up a couple of interesting points.

Is Islam compatible with "western values"? When you talk about the adherents of Islam and the inhabitants of the west, we are talking about well over 2 billion people: Muslims don't agree on a set of values, and there isn't one set of western values. And just because most of the CIA-backed leaders in the Muslim world are not "liberty minded", that says nothing about adherents of Islam themselves.

Should the west take in large numbers of Muslims under a democratic system? The answer to this starts with Bastiat, "That Which is Seen, and That Which is Not Seen". You see the refugees streaming into Europe, but what you choose to not see is your taxpayer funded regime change operations. "We came, we saw, he died" in Libya; "Assad must go!" in Syria: "the west" has an obligation to these people, either stop meddling in their countries, or accept the blowback when Syrians "vote with their feet" and choose not to fight and die for the Assad government or for the western-backed terrorists.

The question for "the west" is: Are you ever going to be able to use your democracy to vote out the Zionist control of your foreign policy? So far, the results don't look so good.

  2. Al-Khwarizmi did not invent algorithms. Algorithms have been used since ancient Greece and before that. The term is dervied from his name because the Europeans discovered the use of Hindu numerals through him(Hindu numerals being the ones that the Muslim conquerors discovered in India and that were subsequently labeled Arabic by the Europeans did not know where they originally came from.)

  3. That was an interesting video, Hasan is good speak based on that clip. However I personally think these debates on religion, race/ethnicity are relatively pointless.

My father told me when I was in my teens that not everyone is going to like you, so stop worrying about everyone else and worry about yourself.

There will always be people who will engage in what I like to call Al Sharpton/Soviet style ID collectivism even by those who claim to correctly hate Al Sharpton. People aren't going to convince the Black Panthers, Ayran Brotherhood, La Raza, Asian gangs, Jewish Defense League or the Muslim Brotherhood among others to no longer hate non-blacks, non-whites, non-hispanics, non-asians, non-jews and non-muslims it's just not going to happen. What Hasan and others both in Europe and the US should be adovcating is for private property rights and the right to self defense. Ok so one place doesn't want X group then hell lets start our own. Tough guys on the internet want to go after X group? Ok lets learn how to use, buy guns and dogs.

  4. Interesting points, but there's something about the British accent that is spoken in a strong way that is just annoying as heck to me. It's like listening to Paul Joseph Watson over emphasizing every single word.

  5. Why are so many of the Muslim countries are backwards socially and technologically? The ones that are more modern, they are modern because of Western technologies.

Why Muslims want to live and then create their enclaves where they enforce the "non-existent" Sharia?

Saudi Arabia did not exists circa 600AD but it comprises, almost to 100%, of the Arabian peninsula. That was but one example of his obfuscations based on partial and misleading "history."

What is the population of Saudi Arabia and proportion of the population protest the enforcement of Sharia? Other Muslim countries? It is like the joke that 90% of the lawyers give the 10% a bad name.

I also wonder what was happening in the ME and South West Asia at the time of the begining of the Crusades? Has this debater ever heard the term Gates Of Vienna?

Setting the record straight? Straight into the BS department.

    1. I'm not so sure your lawyer joke applies here. There are around 5 million Wahhabi Muslims out of 1.7 billion total Muslims in the world.

Wahhabi's are a minority in Saudi Arabia itself, however their military expenditures per capita is more than any other country; and "the west" is too eager to sell them weapons.

Finally, although an overwhelming majority of Muslims reject Wahhabi Islam, Saudi oil money allowed them to spread their influence politically for decades. Recently, over 200 Sunni scholars met in Chechnya to define what is "Sunni Islam" and they decided that Wahhabi Islam is not part of the Sunni community. The same way that libertarians can't control the actions the state takes on their behalf, the average Muslim can not compete with state resources, especially when they are reinforced by those governments' western allies.
