  1. Could they legally search his car without a warrant when he refuses?

    1. Yes, the government agents can search his car if they want to because they have superior numbers and firepower. 'Legal' is a term that doesn't mean anything in the real world.

    2. The video doesn't make it clear, but I'm guessing the K-9 "officer" signaled that it smelled drugs. Police-trained dogs have a habit of alerting whenever their handlers want them to, oddly enough, and craven courts have upheld this as justification for a more intrusive search.

I'd like to see cops punished severely for lying about people's right to record them while they're on duty. These particular nasty cops also deserve a pie (or some other substance) in the face.

When I showed my wife your post, she said "justice belong only to those who have power."

You guys know the real world.

    4. Can the K-9 officer stand up to a cross-examination in a court of law?

  2. If the office objects to being filmed, just ask him "You don't have anything to hide, do you?".

  3. Why was he approached? Is it policy to harass uber drivers?
