VIDEO Anti-Trump Protester Tackled While Delivering a Speech in Columbus, Ohio

The war between the socialists and right wing authoritarians is on.

  1. That poor kid looked like some autistic or otherwise challenged kid.

I wonder if someone at the top of the stairs offered him a $20 to knock down the speaker or otherwise incited him. There's a man at the top of the stairs recording the incident beginning with the kid's charge down the stairs.
And quick thinking on the part of those immediately surrounding the speaker who protected him from the mob. Like they could see that he was clearly helpless and lacked understanding. Or they were expecting him, maybe.

    1. I've read some comments on Twitter (for what that's worth) from people at the scene and that knew the pusher confirming that he is highly autistic. Looking at him and the way he lumbers down the stairs, he certainly doesn't fit the profile of a right wing authoritarian.

Considering what Project Veritas confirmed, reports of people being bused into these protests/riots, everything Soros gets up to, and so on, I'm highly skeptical of any reports of x violence against y. That goes for both sides. Reality gets more subjective everyday.

Also, the way they chant "shame" at him as he's carried off (right out of Game of Thrones) is highly creepy and suspect.

    2. Wouldn't be surprised. Most of these types of power struggles have more than their fair share of false flags on both sides.

    3. Fwiw, this tweet says:

I know for a fact he is not a Trump supporter. I know him and he has a mental illness but I do not know why he tackled the man.

  2. Good. God. This is horrible.

I've been thinking a lot about the secession issue. I'm trying to find a libertarian solution for RW's #CalExit conundrum, but no scenario I can conjure calls for support of anti secession forces.

    Very Austrian-lite.

  3. Dan that was brutal and could have easily hurt or even killed the one being pushed down the stairs. The guy who was pushed was named Tim Joseph of OSU. The unnamed assailant was arrested. I hope he does jail time. http://thelantern.com/2016/11/protest-again/

  6. Turns out this is a bad example of a "right wing authoritarian": http://thelantern.com/2016/11/protester-tackled-at-anti-trump-rally-working-to-drop-the-charges/ .
