US Attorney Subpoenas Weiner's Phone

A U.S. attorney's office has issued a subpoena for former Rep. Anthony Weiner's cellphone and other records, according to CNN.

The FBI and New York Police Department have already opened preliminary investigations into allegations that Weiner exchanged sexually explicit text messages over the course of several momths with a minor, a 15-year-old girl.

Weiner said he had "likely been the subject of a hoax" when confronted by The Daily Mail. But he voiced remorse over repeatedly engaging in sexual discussions online.

“I have no one to blame but me for putting myself in this position. I am sorry," he said.

  1. "Weiner said he had "likely been the subject of a hoax" ..."

Anthony Weiner said the same thing before when Andrew Breitbart exposed his lies:

Breitbart got to Weiner's own press conference before him! It was awesome.
