Donald vs. Hillary

Bob Roddis comments:

This morning, I was leaning by .00007 degrees to the “Hillary is worse than Trump” side of the scale. Then I saw this.

That would scare the children. That would scare the cats.

  1. I gotta say, Roddis head the nail on the head with this one. That is one scary poster.

  2. It's indeterminate on who is worse. If Hillary's in, Obamacare will for sure stay and only get worse -- that's one of the biggest dangers to our health that exists. Both will expand aggression, and in some respects, Hillary is more scary in this regard than Trump. I sense Trump's bark is worse than his bite in this regard, however aggression always gets out of control, so they're equally unpredictable. I have a feeling that the Supreme Court is going to get even more aggressive about becoming the lead oligarchs. Hillary is probably worse in this area, but there's a great deal of unpredictability with appointments on both sides.

I think that most people -- even libertarians -- underestimate the insidious dangers of Obamacare, and its damage to health and longevity, so Hillary actually scares me a bit more, but Trump's "bark being more than his bite" makes him also unpredictable in this area.

Which pile of shit stinks more has too many variables and is too close to call.

That's true IMO. I always liked it when Ron Paul brought up how Bush the Dumber talked about a "humble foreign policy" while running for office the 1st go round- I'm sure very few saw what was coming down the pike. (though I'm also sure many would excuse it because of 9/11)

    2. The following was known before he took office:
"The Vulcans is a nickname used to refer to Republican Presidential candidate George W. Bush's foreign policy advisory team assembled to brief him prior to the 2000 U.S. presidential election. The Vulcans were led by Condoleezza Rice and included Richard Armitage, Robert Blackwill, Stephen Hadley, Richard Perle, Dov S. Zakheim, Robert Zoellick and Paul Wolfowitz, and Wolfowitz protégé, Scooter Libby."

They then became a part of his administration.

  3. WOW! This poster certainly demonstrates the truth of Hayek's observation that our political system promotes the worst of us to the top. Don't vote. Don't enable these sociopaths. The battle will be long but only by delegitimizing the system is there hope for the future.

  4. The main thing I like about Trump is how he is disarming the SJWs and their "racist racist racist" crap. A lot of people are being energized by that. However, Mr. Wenzel is correct in observing how Trump’s supporters are EXTREMELY and emotionally supportive of him. I can see why people love Obama. I cannot see why all people don't hate the Clintons from first glance. Trump has always been a non-entity to me and I do not "get" the attraction.

I always held a grudge against him for destroying the USFL. He insisted on moving the season from the spring to fall and then suing the NFL for antitrust violations (how libertarian - - and pathetic). The league awarded a verdict of THREE DOLLARS. Our Detroit team, the Michigan Panthers won the first USFL championship.

The Panthers then lost to Steve Young and the L.A. Express before an estimated 35 people in the L.A. Coliseum. It turned out to be the Panthers' last game. Trump was instrumental in them disappearing. After the 1984 season was over USFL owners, largely under the influence of New Jersey Generals owner Donald Trump and Chicago franchise owner Eddie Einhornbegan talking seriously about moving to a fall schedule in 1986. While the Panthers had developed a loyal following, Taubman was a strong believer in the original spring football concept. He also had no desire to compete with the Detroit Lions, who were owned by his longtime friend William Clay Ford.

Taubman felt like the move was a foregone conclusion. As a result, after the merger between the Oakland Invaders and the Oklahoma Outlaws collapsed, Taubman quietly approached Invaders owner Tad Taube about a possible merger with his Panthers. When the league owners met to vote on moving to the fall, Taubman sent his son with a message for the commissioner—if the teams voted to move to the fall, the Panthers would merge with the Invaders, with the Invaders as the surviving team. When the vote to play in the fall passed, the Panthers and Invaders announced their merger, with Taubman as majority owner of the Invaders.

    Aftermath

After the USFL received only $3 in its antitrust lawsuit against the NFL, on which it had staked its survival, the league suspended operations and never returned. The league's abandonment of the Detroit market was a major factor behind the adverse jury award.

Trump’s just a genius at business.

  5. It matters not who is elected. There is no political solution. Our solution comes from the American people understanding fundamental economic laws as outlined in books like Hazlitt's "Economics in One Lesson". This nation is dead. We have to start over and it has to be an economic system NOT a political system. Private governance or free-enterprise capitalism running the show is what history shows us to be the in-your-face obvious solution. Ignorance and fear are our enemies. Most men are intellectual and moral cowards, so it will have to start in a small region and expand by example. Voting is insanity. Voting is hoping in charlatans.

    1. Hear, Hear! I too find it fascinating how even Ancaps get sucked into these elections every four years. Wake me when the time to vote for your favorite or least hated sociopath comes to an end. People like Ron Paul, who use the platform to spread the message of liberty being the exception.
