Needless to say, although they managed to find several folks who never actually graduated from Columbia, they couldn't bring themselves to list an actual alumnus whose significance and importance--and success--continues to grow, twenty years after his passing. Dr. Ruth is all but unknown to anyone under thirty, Allen Ginsberg's writings are fading (thank goodness), but Murray's are stronger than ever.
Perhaps you could give them a gentle reminder (or smack upside the head)? As always, thank you.
